Too much going on.

Hello everyone,

I have been thinking this week about how life can be busy all the time. We love to fill our lives with something no matter what is going on around us. Even when we have nothing to do the first thing that comes to most of us is to watch TV or do something to not be alone.

Tonight I am going to share a thought that I have about how when Jesus was baptized the first thing he did was get alone in the wilderness. There is power in letting life take a break and sitting and listening to your own thoughts and at the same time giving room for the voice of God to come through.

The fruit of being alone is that we come back full of power and strenght to deal with what is going on in life.

Luke 4:14 "Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit's power."

Hope to see you all out tonight for our our second Café Zoe and the last one before the Christmas season.

Remember, with Jesus in you, you have what it takes to live the life He has for you. Let Him shine in all you do.

Mark

Today's Announcement

Today's announcement was alot of fun! If you were there, hope you had a chance to grab a paper airplane as it flew by...and hopefully you weren't one of the ones who got hit in the back of the head.

We are gearing up for the first night on Dec 7th. We can't wait to see you there - it's going to be an awesome night!

Below you'll find an online version of the flyer we handed out this morning...that pretty much sums everything up, but if you need more info, please don't hesitate to ask. You can leave a comment on this blog post, or join our facebook fanpage and leave a comment there. Thanks for stopping by!

This week's recap!

Last night we had a good time coming together and hanging out. Here is the main idea of what we talked about.

Colossians 1:27(NLT) says

"For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance (hope) of sharing his glory."

Christ in us is the hope that we get to share with those that are around us everyday. Enjoy your life today and let the life of Jesus come out in everything you do.
